Blaze

Great restaurant on the beach serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Each meal is very well prepared and service is great. On two occasions had the filet and the mahi mahi and both were very high quality and cooked to perfection.

Blaze is the jewel in the restaurant crown. Get to the restaurant reservation early to make sure you have a spot here, the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything is beautiful and memorable. They even have a friendly raccoon Oscar to collect table refuse.

The only good restaurant at Hyatt Zivar. It is quite small and only a few tables have a nice view. We tried both the lunch and the dinner menu, both were good. Not a 5-star restaurant really, would have given 4.2-4.5 if possible. The fish tacos and the shrimp tacos were the best. Burger and shrimp cocktail were not great, but ok. The sides of the dinner menu were good. Steak and the fish were good, but not perfect.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Blaze recently, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. Our server, Hector, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our dining experience truly memorable. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The star of the show, however, was the steak. Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had in my life, it was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with mouthwatering juiciness. The side dishes and appetizers were equally impressive, complementing the steak perfectly. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience was flawless from start to finish. It's evident that The Blaze takes great pride in providing top-notch service to their patrons. I wholeheartedly recommend The Blaze for anyone seeking a world-class steakhouse experience. The exquisite food and exceptional service are sure to impress. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal. Five stars!

Probably my most memorable time at the Hyatt Ziva. I ended up going to Blaze for both breakfast and lunch (sadly wasn't able to nab a dinner reservation within the time there). For lunch and breakfast, there wasn't a wait and didn't have to reserve ahead of time. I was hungry in the morning/early afternoon and ended up venturing here twice. Humberto was my waiter, and he was really solid - helping with choosing the best items as well as being great to chat with. For breakfast, I got the egg machaca dish which was absolutely delicious and probably my favorite dish of the whole trip. It was flavorful and came with a super spicy salsa that I adored. I was able to also get coffee refills. For lunch, I got the tuna ceviche and the fish tacos. The ceviche was okay. The presentation made it tough to utilize the two big chips it came with (as the ceviche was on top). The fish tacos were better and liked the sauce they used. The chips came at the very beginning with pico de gallo and guacamole. I was able to get both beers (a regular Dos Equis and the amber). Like most of the drinks at the resort, they seemed watered down. The views are spectacular and some of the best on the resort - being outdoors with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. My only con at the moment here was a bit of just the cooking time. Dishes did take a while to come out much more than the other restaurants. Would totally come back here.

We loved this restaurant so much, we had breakfast AND a supper meal there! Highly recommend!
